We are a proud parents of a baby Puff Girl named Thumbelina! She is our latest addition to the family. It is a soul mate searching story with a happy ending! Bruno Boxer, a 70 lbs mama’s boy, grew up with a friend’s long coated chihuahua named Fritta. They have developed a strong bond and since than Bruno has a soft spot for small, fluffy animals. At first we hoped he would befriend our Ridgeback Queen but she kept on brushing him off, claming she is too busy for silly puppy games and all… so a Boxer boy asked his parents for a baby brother or a sister that he can always play with and have fun. For a long while we’ve been looking to adopt. Local agencies were not much help so we tuned to the internet and stumbled upon a peculiar looking dog. We remember joking about it after we have watched a “How to lose a guy in 10 days” movie featuring a Chinese Crested. However just for fun we have done some research and found out that it is a high energy, good spirited breed with either Bad hair days or No hair period! We loved it! In fact we must have gone completely mad because we drove for 24 hours to pick one up in Ohio couple of weeks later! It was a dream come true for our Boxer boy! They roam around and play all day tiring each other out while Queen of Rhodesia is taking her beauty naps! We are definitely a more complete and happier family now!
